Jae- Dee Collier has recently completed her Master of Professional Practice (Creative Writing) and previously a Master of Public Health. Jae-Dee is concerned about the ongoing public health effects of the victims of child abuse and children who grew up in ‘Care’. The intergenerational impacts can be far reaching. The author is a mother of two, and step mother of another 3 boys. Grandmother of 12 children and soon to become a Great Grandmother.
The various characters are captured in engaging way to insightfully reflect the life of Jae-Dee and other orphanage residents. her experiences derived from the schizophrenic impact of mothers, catholic nuns and others who have influenced her fortitude and upbringing.
